CHAPTER 1 BLOG - First Farmers

First Farmers
This part of the chapter seeks to analyze the evolution of human life in regards to the way we sustain ourselves and grow our food over thousands of years and generations.

The Paleolithic culture and the evolution of it, and their way of life was referred to as the "Agricultural Revolution". This was an extremely revolutionary and innovative time for human kind, many of the aspects of life we live by today stemmed from the original traits, beliefs and lifestyles that the Paleolithic people made for themselves. The Paleolithic people were so ingenious that not only were they living off of the land by hunting the animals that lived on it, but they were growing and producing there own food and optimizing the land, harvest, and subsequently product they produced. This is what made the Paleolithic people to be considered ""Domesticated" or "civilized".

This evolution of lifestyle happened all over the world and at varying times. With the Agriculture Revolution also came the advancement of the way people hunted and collected, transported and prepared the food in which they had acquired. Depending on where you were in the world would depend on what types of food would be able to be grown and what animals you would be able to eat. This was used to the advantage of the people as we used the different climatic conditions and specifically selected geographically where to farm exactly what types of food for the best crops, yield and product. This ability to be able to select what can be grown where and subsequently who has access to the crops sparked the globalization of agriculture. This was evident as this is the time when the population of theearth started to rise drastically. Because of the effective and sustainable ways we were sustaining ourselves we were able to support a much larger number of people comfortably.

Societies then stemmed from these ways of life, trades began to ensue and communities were created in the exchange of items of food that could not be produced in certain areas, improving quality of life for people as a civilization.
