CHAPTER 2 BLOG - First Civilizations

The first civilizations of people and the way in which they lived was considered a huger step in the way in which civilizations before them, like the Neolithic and Paleolithic peoples had lived beforehand. The chapter talks about the ancient lands of Mesopotamia and Egypt and compared the two. The first civilizations were evolving for many years and changed their habits, way of living, and skillset over centuries. With the development of these first civilizations, improvements in everything came with it. Some of these aspects are; Improvements and increases in the quality and volume of food being produced Better building structures and quality of living Cleaner resources and health Education Writing and communication improved Religion played a big role in society back in the days of the first civilizations. CHAPTER 1 BLOG - First Farmers

First Farmers This part of the chapter seeks to analyze the evolution of human life in regards to the way we sustain ourselves and grow our food over thousands of years and generations.  The Paleolithic culture and the evolution of it, and their way of life was referred to as the "Agricultural Revolution". This was an extremely revolutionary and innovative time for human kind, many of the aspects of life we live by today stemmed from the original traits, beliefs and lifestyles that the Paleolithic people made for themselves. The Paleolithic people were so ingenious that not only were they living off of the land by hunting the animals that lived on it, but they were growing and producing there own food and optimizing the land, harvest, and subsequently product they produced. Around 200,000 years ago came the "human revolution" when the first recorded homo sapiens lived, they were extremely innovative and paved the way for many future technological advancements, especially in the areas of; hunting and fishing, cooking, communicating, and mating. After roughly 200,000 years the humans at the time began to migrate from Africa, out all around the world, to places like Australia, Eurasia, Asia and the Americas, becoming adaptable to almost any climate and landscape on earth. After this migration most of the world was occupied by human lifeform.
